Why book the birds?

What can I book?
The customer may request either standard birds and / or special birds present in our catalog that are available or unavailable.

Standards birds are defined for the general good condition (condition of plumage, etc.) and good technical characteristics about the standard of beauty.

The Special birds are specifically requested by the customer and have one of the following requirements:

• come from international awards breeders, certificates of RNA (the code ring may be specified in the notes field).
• with higher standards of beauty and the requirements for exhibition, selected through the established skills of Ornithologia Lodato and the actual availability of quality on the market (*).
• with special requirements explicitly requested by the customer, for example: very large bird, with a drawing of a body part marked with a color more or less intense or frosted, etc., to be specified in the notes field.
• relate to market news reported in our catalog (eg bullfinch mutation pastel yellow brown);
• all birds not in our catalog. The birds not in the catalog are that all those animals that Ornithology Lodato has not treated, but you can make a request to the email contatti@ornitologialodato.com. Only after the customer's request we will consider the possibility of recovering the subject before the season.

(*)Is possible that for some birds,  the availability of quality is not up to standard, so it is not possible to guarantee this point.
For the most common birds, our choice is through standard evaluation criteria defined in the tables in pdf created by us;

For all bookings please send your request via email with all the data:

• type bird;
• specifying the number of males / females;
• also indicating date and withdraw place.

To make a reservation of special subjects you need to specify exactly what you want with the requirements above exposed.

When can I book them?
Reservations can register at any time, even in subjects not currently available.
And is possible to make reservations for the next season.
For example, you can book the newly bullfinch pastel yellow brown to a year before and pick them up at the end of moult.

What is the actual cost of the birds?
Only Standard birds actually available have a final cost.
If the bird selected is not available, the price will not be published.
In this case the reservation request will be sent an first email that contains a reference price on its listing of the past season.
The prices of Special birds will have different prices from the standard animal, and will be adjusted to their quality and the difficulty of finding.

The reservation of the birds is free?
Reservations for standard birds are free up to a maximum of 10 subjects. Ornithologia Lodato reserves, in the case of bird expensive to request an deposit.
For reservations for special birds will require a cost equal to half the value of the animal that will be announced at a later from Ornitologia Lodato.

Confirmation of booking Standard birds
Ornitologia Lodato confirm your reservation by email. If the subject is not available at time of booking, we will be announced  the first time the availability, and then, when available you will receive an email with the final price.

The booking confirmation of Special bird
Only bookings for special bird and the birds not in the catalog, then will need to send us an email, a copy of the transfer bank (of half of the total price), by fax to 0039 0381 669602 and not later than 7 days of receipt of our confirmation "take charge".

How and when can I withdraw subjects booked?
Is possible to withdraw birds from:

• our store
• the fairs we attend
• through the air shipment

The withdrawal of the birds in our catalog available, must be made within one week of confirmation.
In the case of withdraw in the fairs, you can make your reservation until the day before the show.
