The Plum-headed Finch spread throughout the Australian continent, including Tasmania, particularly in its eastern regions.

The birds are characterized by the gray-brown on the back and head and white color with brown horizontal ridges on the flanks. The wings are presented with white dots.

It feeds on seeds of canary seed, millet, white, panic, and niger seed lawns.

Its reproduction occurs during our winter, with temperatures around 20 degrees. Average of 3 or 4 broods per season with the help of nurses in captivity (White-rumped Munia).

The withdrawal of the bird is possible in our shop or at the fairs we will attend.
