The Goldfinch, belonging to the family of the Finches, is native to Europe and its presence extends to some countries from Europe to Asia.
It feeds mainly on seeds of thistle, sunflower and chicory. We recommend seed also composed of other varieties of seeds such as canary seed, niger, hemp, perilla, etc.
The breeding period starts from the end of spring with an average of 3 broods per season.
Among the particularities there is the origin of the name that comes from the fact that it is voracious of seed of the thistle.
Goldfinch can hybridize with the Canary and other birds of European fauna.
The withdrawal of the bird is possible in our shop or at the fairs we will attend.
