The Warbling Silverbill is in some parts of the Arabian Peninsula to spread eastward up to Bangladesh, preferring arid, open woodlands and edges of cultivation.

His feature that characterizes even the name is the conical shape of the beak with the tip slightly bent and gray with shades reminiscent of hematite and coal. The birds are at the top of sand-colored to white tinged with in their lower part. The wings and tail are black.

The sexes do not show dimorphism.

The diet of Warbling Silverbill is composed of grains of panic, canary seed, millet, white, red millet, niger and small insects.

The captive breeding may occur in the winter if conditions are ideal: temperatures of 15 to 25 degrees and light to 16/17 hours a day. The average brood is 2 / 3 season.
