  • relate to market news reported in our catalog (ex.: bullfinch mutation pastel yellow brown);

NB: The top birds can also be adults or reproductor.

The Greenfinch, belonging to the family of the Finches, is present in the forests and orchards in Europe, Asia and North Africa.

It feeds mainly oilseeds and at spawning time his diet supplements seeds sprouted. We recommend canary seed, hemp, niger, panic, sunflower, etc.

The breeding period starts from April to July with an average of 3 broods per season.

Among the particularities there is the use of Greenfinch as decoy. Its name derives from the greek Khloros which means "yellow-green" or "pale green".

The Greenfinch can hybridize with the canary and with others in the European fauna.

It is different from China Greenfinch and Verdone black head, you will find them in the section of the Asian fauna.
